World Maritime University visits MTC

World Maritime University (WMU) officials and students visited the Magsaysay Training Center  last April 19, 2016. The delegates were accompanied by Professor Clive Cole.

This year's field study, fifteen (15) Master of Science in Maritime Education Training students will visit various maritime institutions, organizations, corporations and agencies in both government and private sector in Manila from April 18-21. This is to serve as the venue for the exchanging of ideas from the maritime classroom to the real world thus, affording students the opportunity to connect theory with practice.

Chief Engineer Romeo S. Piccio, VP of MTC, gave the group an orientation about MTC as well as a tour of the center’s state of the art facilities.

The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) specifically requested MTC to accommodate the WMU visit because of its world class quality of training.
