Total of 159 Marine Engineering and Marine Transportation students together with 3 faculty members from Bicol Merchant Marine College (BMMC) took their Basic Training here at Magsaysay Training Center (MTC) last October 23-30, 2017.

The students were accompanied by 6 faculty members (3 of them took Basic Training) from their school during their 8-day training here in Manila. They were all housed at the Magcoop house until they finished the course.

Basic Training is also part of their school curriculum and also one of their requirements for graduation.
