Magsaysay Learning Resources, Inc. (MLRI) has officially received accreditation from the Department of Transportation-Office for Transportation Security (DOTr-OTS) to deliver maritime security (MARSEC) courses in accordance with OTS Memorandum Circular No. 07 Series of 2016. 
The accreditation authorized MLRI to deliver certified MARSEC courses including Security Awareness Training for Port Facility Personnel with Designated Security Duties, Security Awareness Training for Port Facility Personnel without Designated Security Duties and Port Facility Security Officers’ Course. These courses aim to equip personnel, port security officers and port facility security officers with requisite training standards and appropriate skills to conduct security assessment, develop and implement security plan, and forestall circumvention of security measures.
This is MLRI's response to current maritime security challenges and to ensure that highly trained individuals in risk management are employed in the industry. The accreditation from DOTr-OTS is an important achievement, allowing MLRI to uphold the same high standards of maritime security training.
